Trying to decide on Plastic Coating the Wheels and some other Chrome. The Wife doesn't want me to but I love all Black. Thoughts? Raider Ford Emblem overlays are on the way!

Looks really good, I was thinking with the XKGlow, I'd wrap mine like yours, but they say they come in 24" and 36" long tubes, not sure if that's total length in a pair or each. I still need to figure that out.

3M auto emblem tape. Been on there a couple months with no problems. Cleaned all surfaces very well with rubbing alcohol.

Spent the last 2 evenings putting an Hidden Hitch p/n. 87195 class 3 trailer hitch on because the factory 1 rusted out. Needed to get this done because of trailering out Vstar to my cousins for Thunder in the Valley (Johnstown, PA) tomorrow. I unbolted the 2 braces that come back to the sides of the frame, cut the brackets off, cut the receiver box off, & notched the factory hitch to clear the new hitch. At a later date, I'll rework the rusted out tube. Here are some pictures.

No need to hide the hitch; wear it with pride! Let everyone know you use your truck for what it was intended for: hauling heavy stuff, not just flowers for the garden!

Speaking of heavy stuff, I hauled home some red granite rocks from my parents ranch. I love free landscape material and my dad likes them gone from his field!
