Default What is it?

I was changing my transmission fluid and I noticed the round black rubber plug between the oil pan and transmission pan so I took it off wondering what it was for and I'm still wondering...

P.S. Is a drain plug on the transmission pan too much to ask for?

Drain plugs on pans cost more $$ to make, you want a drain plug buy an aftermarket pan.

I don't know how to post pics, I really need to learn. It might be an inspection cover.

resize them, upload the to your album or get a photobucket account, which is free, and link them over here.

Maybe it is the plug/cover for accessing the plug to drain the torque converter...
