Default What is this for?

So I have had my truck for a year and a half and the reverse sensors have never worked. I searched all the threads troubleshooting and haven't really found anything. The two driver side sensors click but the two on the right do not. I've swapped sensors and I end up in the same boat so I think all the sensors are good. Speaker is good as well because it beeps sometimes for a few seconds. While following the wires up along the frame of the truck I came to this big cluster of wires underneath a cover on the driver side frame rail. I have a green wire coming out of the harness and have no idea what it would be for or if it got pulled out somehow(doesn't look to be pulled out). So does anyone have any ideas what else I can try for the sensors and does anyone know what this green wire is for? The first two pictures are of the wire and its location and the last picture is just of the truck. Any help is appreciated.

that green wire looks like it belongs in the connector but before you try that get some electrical contact cleaner and clean the connections...looks awfully dirty

Where in MN are you located?

I am not familiar with the back up sensors, but are there any fuses, relays, or switches for them? Anything further down stream in the wiring that is broken or connectors that would be exposed to the MN road salt? Ford uses some good connectors for the areas that will get wet, but it doesn't mean something didn't fail. When I took my back bumper off to get coated, the whole inside was full of the wonderful MN gold. Are the connectors at the sensors clean? Can you test them with a meter to see if there is any voltage? Should be able to unplug that connector then jump the wire, follow to back, and ohm it out and see if you have any breaks in the wire.

Did you do any led lights in the truck?

I go to college at Winona state so I live down here for the most part but I'm from around Rochester. A while back I cleaned the connections to the sensors and put dielectric grease on them. I have a feeling there is a break in the wire somewhere between the sensors and where the wires T into the wires from the sensors on the drivers side... If that makes sense? I tried to drop the spare and get a better look but it's locked up so I have to work on that. Also, I'm still wondering what in the heck that green wire is for so a diagram would be awesome!

Winona is a beautiful area.

I don't have any diagrams.

Yea it really is. The other guy said he had diagrams. I don't know how to past his post into mine though so I just put it all into one.

Have no idea about your back up alarm as mine dont work any more either but as far as the green wire I believe that is your temp sensor for your outside temp reading.

I just went out and looked at the outside temp and it works still. I'm gonna take another look at it all tonight after work.
