I read through some post about noises but I'm not sure if mine is the same.

The best way to describe the noise is a guitar string being plucked repetitively. It only makes the noise while accelerating. When I release the pedal the noise stops. I have exhaust on my truck so it is sometimes hard to hear, and even harder to tell where its coming from. I haven't noticed any driving issuses. Just a real annoying noise. And it doesnt always happen. Sometimes it will do it for 60 miles, somtimes it will stop after 2 miles. Sometimes it wont do it at all. And I can't remember if it started before or after the cold season.

Any ideas folks?
