2005 f150 fx4 supercab 5.4......I have no tail lights when the main light switch is in the on position but all other lights including the instrument panel work. If the switch is in the A (auto) position all lights work including the tail lights but the instrument panel doesn't work. So all lights work but not at the same time ....any ideas? I changed out the switch with a new one but still have the same situation.

 

This circuit has lots of fuses on it, not a simple circuit. Check them all with a ohm meter --one at a time . One fuse out can cause some weird symptoms.
I have 05 diagram it has at least 5 fuses involved . And involves more than one diagram .
Have you added some electric device lately ?

 

Nothing ever been added... it is just strange that all lights work just not when they are supposed to work.
