Default The way Ford should've built it!

After lots of pondering and putting it off I finally did a Flowmaster super 40 muffler, Cold air kit with K&N and the Edge Evo Tuner and all I can say is wow! This is the way this truck should have ran from the start! I love my fords but since owning this 05 FX4 I must say I haven't been overly enthused about its performance.

If your pondering these simple mods to your truck, do it! you won't regret a thing.

That's exactly what I plan to do to mine once I get it. Did you just replace the stock muffler with the 40 or run dual pipes out?

For now I just replaced the stock muffler with the 40, plan to eventually go with the single in-dual out.

I'm currently running the Edge on power level 2 (towing) with some custom tweaking. I have yet to run it on the 3rd power level with 93 octane

second that man. i am running a 07 fx4 scab with true duals super 40s, a banks ram air, edge evo, leveled on 33s and it is a beast. i can run with anyone and in the mud it just cant be beat. i haul alot an the extra power is amazing.

the fair cheap add-ons do help, A LOT! it amazing what you can do when you dump a little money in these trucks
