Default Warranty Question

When I bought my truck I bought an extended warranty with it, my question is, is it transferable to different dealerships? Only reason I ask is my wife got orders for Ft.Leonard wood, Mo and I want to know if ill be ok if something happens to my truck over there, currently im in texas. Thanks!!!

If it's Ford ESP, then it's valid at ANY Ford dealership. Not sure how much you paid, but check out Fordwarrantys.com or do a search for Ford ESP.

Yea if its the warranty from ford its good at any ford authorized dealer. I've had to change from the dealership that I bought the truck from for repairs because of poorly trained mechanics at their shop. No problems with new sh

Most of these extended warranties are valid at any 'qualified repair facility' including almost all dealerships.
My dealer where I had warranty service done after I moved out-of-state told me they work with any warranty company except U.S. Fidelis (that one you see Rusty Wallace pitching during every commercial break).
They also accept out-of-state coverages...people only break down when out of town anyways.
If you know where you are going to be, find a couple dealers and get in touch with their service managers to double-check.
Was so nice to get a valve-train rebuilt for $100. Good luck.

It must be valid...they (the warrantee folks) have to expect that you drive further than your home state, and that a problem with the vehicle could happen.

Give them a call to verify.
