Yesterday the warning chimes for the "Keys left in ignition & Lights left on" stopped working. It sometimes gives one quick ding, and sometimes no ding at all. Any ideas ? Thanks.

I wish you could tell me how you got the "keys left in ignition" chime to quit working.

At least I can un-program the seat belt chime.

 

mine had quit as well - found a yellow with black tracer wire in the left front door to body wiring boot had broke years of opening closing - mine is 06 XLT Supercrew - hope this helps?

 

Haven't figured out the problem yet but I noticed last night that when i turned my headlights on, that i had no dash lights or radio display lights either.

 

I did some tinkering behind my cluster. Now my headlights chime quit working. Key in the ignition still works but left the headlights on chime has stopped. Did you figure anything out. I know the chime it's self works I just need to figure out what sets it off to fix it.

 

anyone else lost the headlight chime but not the actual key in ignition chime?

 

Update: I found the problem to be in the relay I added behind the dash. This relay wasn't even necessary since the AC signal is a ground signal and what I wanted to send to my fan controller relay was a ground signal anyway. So I just tapped that line and my headlights on chime came back.
