2007+ Tundra. Stock and you're almost there.
0-60 mph (sec.) - 6.3
1/4-mile (sec. @ mph) - 14.8 @ 93.7

Yea you could get a supercharger for the price of cams and gears and tunes. Listen to blown ford.

There's two ways about this:

1. If you just want a vehicle that will run a pretty damn good 1/4 mile you could take all the money you're gonna need to get your truck into the 14's and by a DSM in stead. You can pick up a 1G AWD Talon Tsi (or equivilant) for like 1500 bucks. Buy a bigger turbo; like an Evo III 16G, bigger IC, exhaust, DSM Link and a tune with a fuel pump and cams and you're mid 12's at LEAST!

2. OR........spend all that money on your truck to run the 14's just so you can say you beat a stock Chevy or GMC.

An SC 'is' a bolt-on part......technically.

To each his own.

My opinion would be to look for a used SC..................the cams and tune will only get you so far with proper supporting mods; but with the SC you can always go faster with smaller pulleys..........until you reach the point where there aren't any smaller ones left to get.

UNLESS...........you get a used turbo from someone and use that instead. Can always buy a bigger one later.

I guess some folks don't get it. I don't want a second car to take care of. I love my truck. I want it fast. Not a 2nd car/truck. You might spend 8hrs a year at the strip. Most are in there trucks daily. I want performance daily! Not just a dragster. I can't speak for hi-rev but a goal of 14, 13, or even 12 is an indication of what a person wants on the street. What good is the fast car at the house when your driving the truck somewhere and you can't feel that thrust?

You're obviously in high school and your friends have Chevys and you're all suffering from shlong-envy. These are the stupidest threads.

Note: BlownFord, this is not at all directed towards you. Your truck is slick and clean.
Thank you. I can apprciate what your saying.

But to all in my opinion what makes a thread like this suck is when people start bashing the guy for wanting a fast truck or recommending he buy a ragged out import piece of **** and so on. Its disappointing. This is an American kid/guy whatever you wanna call it whose wanting to make his american truck faster. Give a little support folks. His question was clear...how do I make my truck faster? Thus far I have seen 2-3 pages of bs and only a handful of useful information answering his question.

Oh I get that, but I highly doubt you wanted to go FI because some guy you knew had a Chevy and said it's faster. You also knew it takes the big $$ to actually make a difference

You could try to lighten it up a bit. Fiberglass roll pan and hood, remove the spare tire etc.
