Hey guys

How do i figure out what rear end my truck has? I ran the VIN through a decoder but it didn't have that information. It has a tow package.

I'm going to to towing a 6500lb trailer with my 2005 screw 4x4 5.4 am I nuts?

Look on the drivers side door jamb. The sticker will have an axle code. Google the code and you'll find out what it is.

 

Your truck should handle the trailer with no problem. If the trailer has some kind of braking system that would be a huge plus. There should be a sticker or stamp on near your hitch that will have your max tow rating.
