Default Vibration

I have a vibration somewhere in the front of my truck that is driving me nuts because I can't pin it down. It comes and goes, but it is a faint grinding/vibration. It is most noticeable when I am turning AND accelerating.

I have done checks on the IWE system and have ruled it out.

I checked the front bearings by lifting the truck up and pulling in and out on the tire checking for play, but there are none.

What about CV joints? I'm used to more of a clicking sound when a CV goes bad.

Anything I am missing?

Get your tires balance checked. I had a horrible vibration and that's all it turned out to be

Just got new rims put on. Same thing before and after. This is not a tire issue.

How did you rule out the IWE... could be the HUB and IWE trying to stay engaged...poop into 4WD and see it goes away or get worse.

Lift the front wheels up with the engine on, the hubs fully disengage and the CVs don't spin when rotating the tire.

I know it's a long shot, but power steering pump? My fusion made a grinding noise while turning when the pump was on the way out. Stupid idea I know

I would definitely start with this. Jack it up, start it and see if your cv axles are spinning.

Also not sure how Pooping into the 4wd will help...

Did you check all the bushings everywhere for wear? The lower bushing on one of my struts blew up and it was a grinding/vibration while turning... A little bit of slop in a bushing can turn into a vibration while everything is moving.

I just had a similar issue turned out to be the sway bar links where shot. Got rid of the vibrations and clunking sound. Not saying it's your problem but something to check. But but good luck bro.
