Default Very Irritating Problem

I have an 08 fx4 x-cab with a tonneau cover on the bed. The gap between the cab and bed loves to collect ice chunks because the cab has a little bump out to it and the ice slides off the tonneau cover and gets stuck in that little crevice between the bed and cab. Than it rattles around and you can hear it, very very annoying!!! Anyone else with this problem? Any fix for it?

The ice will squeak as well on mine. Turn the radio up until march.

Ya i dont think there is much you can do either. Turn the radio up, powerwash it, live with it and wait for warm weather. I take a pen and push the ice to either end where it falls out. Just did it now on my lunch break and got the pen stuck in there LOL.....

mine does it too, i try to clear the snow off the cover before i drive or it freezes up and falls between the cab and bed.... then rattles... i used a 5 gallon bucket of warm water and stood in the bed, with the cover rolled up obviously, and poured the water down to melt the chunks... or like other guys said, car wash pressure washer...

You can move to Florida. We don't have that problem down here.

That is the best fix I could come up with too. Well that is until I fired up the furnace in the garage. No more ice.
