Default Using another key fob

I recently purchased a 2005 supercrew and the key fob buttons don't function properly also the part where it attaches to the key chain was snapped off. My previous truck a 2000 f150 super cab had the same style fob so I swapped the outer shells with no problems. I'm wondering if there is a way to reprogram the old key fob for the new truck

Yes a quick google search or your OEM owners manual should show you I believe. Very simple process.

you have to turn the key from off to on position 8 times and on the 8th time when you get to the on position the door locks should cycle. then press any button on the new remote, and the locks will lock. You have like 20 seconds to do as many remotes as you have.
