I found a guy selling an edge programmer but he says he totaled his truck so he didn't get to return it to stock settings. He is telling me if I just update it on edge.com it will unlock it and I can use it. Is that true? Edge customer service isn't open today so I need some help please?

I am not 100% sure what Edge will do for you, but I know with the Superchips programmer, it will not work again if you don't clear out the old truck.

I talked to Edge today they told me if I pay 99 bucks I can up load new software and use it on my truck with no problem. Going to pick it up tomorrow

 

Aint worth it. Get a Gryphon or SCT X3 with custom tunes.

 

new style edge cs = gryphon. Just get the custom tunes for your edge.
Is it the newer style CS?

 

It's a version 15 Edge Evolution. Mainly wanting it so I can change tire size. Not really wanting to go crazy with power levels or anything like that. Figure for 99 bucks it's a good deal. Y'all don't think it is?
