so my garage is tiny (stupid townhouse)i came across cheap 2010 mirrors on craigslist with power fold ,signal ,heat ,painted caps,since i want all those options i grabbed them ,aside from painted the caps to match my truck ,can anyone point me in the right direction on how to install and wire these so all options work? or give me a few pointers?,i know how to take off the door panels and bolt them up but thats it ,my 04 extracab now only has normal power mirrors,no other options,thanks in advance

 

Not sure if you need the help anymore, but i'll give you what I know about these mirrors. First off, since they're 2010's going on a 2004, you're going to have to re-pin the wiring harness. I'm not 100% positive but I believe that all f150's 2004+ (except xl's) are pre-wired for power mirrors and turn signals. If not, you may have to tap into the signal wire and run a relay. Tap into the mirror harness and it should work. Same thing with the puddle lights, tap into the dome lights and run a relay to the harness. Heated, i'm not sure about because that has to do with the defrost switch. Power fold is possible if you purchase all factory equipment that goes with them. There is the switch that goes in your door arm rest and the computer portion (measures amps to tell when to stop folding). If you need more direction send me a PM, sorry for the brief description.
