Default Upgraded Emblems?

I have a 2004 and I want to upgrade the F150 emblems on the sides and back. Does anyone know if the newer style emblems will fit and cover up the 3 factory holes where the emblem is now? Any suggestions/advice and pictures would be much appreciated! Thanks

A quick Google search says yes they use the same holes for alignment. They are held on by adhesive tape so even if the holes didn't align you could just cut off the alignment pins and tape them on over the old holes, but it sounds like it's a plug and play affair.

Yes, my 08 has the next generation emblems and they were a big improvement.

Yes for the fenders. However for the tailgate I believe one of the pins has to get clipped in order for it to work

Default Newer Style Badges

You will have to ream the holes out a little but you can put newer badges on.

Looks good. Hey, I do not see the front emblem. Did you remove it. I was looking to replace mine, but they are hard to find or expensive. 90.00$ for a front piece of plastic?

Also, I need to do the fender flares like yours. How was that process and what brand or where did you get yours.

Thanks

One hole will line up and you have to drill another hole to line up one of the other pegs. So that statement is only half true.

yes removed the front emblem and modified the stock plastic grille to install my billet grille.
Maybe you can just get the stock grille and cut out the center like I did. Made it way easier with the install. The billet insert comes with mounting hardware.

Well he doesn't say what years, just newer. The 09-14 emblems are an easier fit I think.
