under rail lights
well, last Sunday I finally got some time and got around to installing my under rail lights....
a buddy of mine had them hanging on a pegboard in his shop, and he handed them to me (cleared up some space on the board). got 2 switches from Radio Shack and I was rollin.
mounted the switches in the upper holes of the stake pockets...drilled a 1/8" hole in the corner for the lightstrip wire...used some 18ga. wire scraps at the shop (bonus-all the butt connectors and and shrinkwrap and other connectors are already in my toolcart)...turned out pretty good, I'll try to post some pics, but, I'm not promising anything...most of the time my phone won't cooperate

I was originally going to tap power from tail lights, but, the decided to tap into 12V charge wire in my 7pin trailer plug....if you have the tow package, it's the ORANGE wire in the harness....added bonus, it's a switched circuit so you CAN'T accidentally leave them on and drain your batt.
