Bought a new ignition key with lock-unlock buttons. I was able to program the ignition part of the key, but the lock-unlock buttons are not working. According to the manual, everything should have programmed at the same time. Is there some way to just program the remote buttons on the new key? Thanks, cdru 2014 f150 xlt

 

well I'll help you out by guiding you to the 09+ forum as they will be alot more help haha. As for some real help, I know to program the little clickers for our gen trucks there is a sequence of turning the key to the on position and then the off position a certain amount of times, to initiate a program mode where you can program those pads, but I'm not sure how it goes for your gen.

Got the information from the key people on e-bay. You are right, it requires several off-on cycles with the key. The new key is now programmed. Thanks, cdru
