Are you wanting SI/DO or true duals? Both will give you dual tips and have their own advantages.

What year truck and engine?

True duals is your best bet
2 high flow magnaflow cats 94106
ebay or magnaflow x pipe
2 magnapacks/dynomax bullets or oval muffler
2 tips of choice

2.25" for optimal torque and hp
2.5" for midrange
3" for supercharged/turbo applications

for just a cheap, nice rumble, if you dont want it loud; SI/DO would be better for you

3" duals are too large for duals even in supercharged applications. 2.5" duals gives good mid to top end in naturally aspirated engines and is more than enough for forced induction.

Is that 3" from headers back, cats back, or Y-pipe back? I'm thinking of running dual 3" straight pipes from the Y-pipe back.

I would go with a duel flowmaster 40's. Duel mufflers and pipes. Im running i think 2 1/2 inch pipes maybe 3 on 3 inch tips and it sounds awsome! Ive only got 1 muffler. I plan to upgrade to 2. But im running the duel exhaust. 1 muffler has a good rumble tone to it. But I just want those duel mufflers.

3" isnt too much for dual application on our trucks when forced induction

2.5" is okay but not the best for everyday driving

If I could do it over I would stick with 2.25" piping for best tq and hp numbers in the low end, what our trucks need

If your going from the y pipe back 3" will just give you a deep rumble and you sacrifice low end tq

Dont go with the flowmaster unless you want the chambered sound and loss of power. Stick with a magnaflow instead.

Don't waste your time with a single in/dual out. Do it right and get true duals and if you have the money get long tubes and true dual it

Ok so go with a magna flow with 2.25 inch piping. but how much will something like that cost me. also how much more for true duals?
