Default Two tone trucks

I'm mainly interested in what color running boards everyone has with a two tone truck. Mine is white with tan bottom but I really don't want chrome steps, I was thinking black. Anybody have any pics that could sway me either way?

Mine are chrome with Black steps. I like the way it looks. I think a total black step might look odd unless you JUST did the step, not the running boards.

Here's my truck. https://www.f150forum.com/f60/sellin...g-ranch-75214/

looks great without stepboards. i say leave them off if you dont mind climbing a bit. get a gryphon tuner instead.

i pulled mine off within a week of owning my truck.

after and with a level

with them before any mods

Something like these would give you the clearance "look" and make it easier to get in and out for you and the little lady.

Honestly I like it without the steps but tired of my friends complaining about it being too hard to get into and having to slide out.

Sliding out will mess up your seats pretty quick too.

Tell your friends to stop being such girls... LOL, my girlfriends complain about it too, but they love to ride in my truck- makes sense right? Haha, anyhow, I'm not a huge fan of chrome (as you can tell, I don't have one speck of chrome on my rig, except for the badges... lol), BUT I think the chrome steps would compliment your truck a lot better.

That being said, go with what suits YOUR taste better. You'll be a lot happier with the end result, regardless of what anyone says
