Tuner time!!!
Tuners don't really help many people in the MPG category.... Most people just want to stomp on it once they get them. Even if they don't, they still don't make a drastic improvement for MPG. If you want better performance and the same mileage, get a tuner. But if you want to drive a civic, get a civic. It will take you a while to pay off your tuner....

How you drive is what's going to affect your gas mileage the most. Also make sure the vehicle is running properly as well, all maintenance done. Primary purpose of a tuner is more power, secondary benefit is gas mpg savings. Will vary from engine to engine but typically about 1-2 gains but ONLY if you keep your foot out of it. Stomping on the gas constantly = worse gas mileage.
HAHA 13 posts and already calling people out. You can get slightly better MPG with a tuner. I would say much better than most other mods will get you. For my a tuner is important for the bigger tires I am running, itll get my speedo back on track. I think tuners can also increase reliability and longevity of a motor and tranny depending on what other mods you have. If you plan or have a CAI/Exhaust/Bigger tires and/or gears Get a tuner. But don't buy a tuner solely to get better MPG if your truck is completely stock with no plans of future mods. but the power gains make it worth it for most. just my opinion good luck

I have that same affliction......
To the op, if your simply wanting better gas mileage and that is all your wanting. I think Edge makes a programmer just for fuel economy and not with 3 canned tunes or anything like that, if I am not mistaken?
No they don't. Level one is just a trans tune. It helps to firm up the shift points. I've noticed around a 1mpg city gain. It picks up speed faster.
