Can the SF3 be uploaded with custom tunes? If so, is there any other difference besides the SF3 coming with preloaded tunes?

Yes it can, just have to find a place that does SCT tuning (I think SCT's website has a link to places). What other differences are you wanting to compare to?

ty i called sct... the only difference is the tunes it comes with, ty tho

i just bought my SCT!!!!!!!
