Meh, the Superchips canned tunes are mediocre. You can get better tunes unless you're getting a deal on it. Any other mods currently or in the future on the truck?

Im currently running a super chips xcalibrator 2 sf. I like it a lot, but the 3-4 WOT tranny shift on the performance 93 tune is a bit too harsh for me. The tow tune feels the best. I got a Volant CAI and dual exhaust with the rear cars deleted.. The SCT definitely woke my truck right up!
I'm going to be switching to the gryphon CS with custom tunes next week when it comes in. I just prefer the monitoring and dash integration features the CS offers.
Im gonna be selling my sct xcal in like 2 weeks, watch for it in the classified section if your interested.

Definitely going to want a custom tune to not run lean and and headers will need a tune anyways. Gryphon or SCT will be your best bet.

I got mine for 150 bux used, its the older one. I've had it on the tow 87 mode for 4 years now, and it works great for the price! Good power bump. The premium tune is a tire roaster, but not needed for my day to day.

I have the flashpaq 1865 on my 05, 5.4. I set it on either performance or tow mode and I'm pretty happy with the results, got rid of my hesitation. I have a true flow intake with cat back flowmasters. I'd like to correct some of you who say it doesn't save the stock tune. It most definitely does. It shifts just fine, not as soft as stock, but not bothersome either.
I noticed it's on sale on amazon right now for $294.
