Default TSB?

Reading post I see TSB this TSB that. I have come to conclusion that it something to do with taking the truck back to the dealer. Can anybody help me out please. And would it affect my 05 F-150 5.4 4x4 Lariat?

TSBs are developed by Ford when an issue comes up often and either their engineers or dealer techs have developed a specific way to diagnose or correct an issue. Basically a cheat sheet for fixing an item on a certain vehicle.

TSBs do not offer an extended warranty and they are not recalls, if you are out of your warranty you'll have to pay for the work.

Any mechanic (or you) can complete the steps in the TSB, you don't have to take it to the dealer (except in the limited number of items that require some of the proprietary computers).

Which TSB do you think applies to your truck?

Step 1 - Make sure there is enough ink in your printer
Step 2 - Print everyone out "IF" you are having those symptoms/issues
Step 3 - Use search function on forums
Step 4 - Start following the TSB
Step 5 - Feel proud and save yourself money

So far I have tackled several TSB even if my truck didn't have the issue explained I still replaced the part. It's not hard, just takes time to research the issue but these forums can grant you a magic wand if used properly.
