Finally got both hid bulbs on while the truck is started unfortunately the only way I was able to get that to happen was if the oem bulb was in the factory harness in the drivers side. I can't leave it leave it like that so how do I bypass that problem

Jump wire in the socket or use a dead light bulb

Is it safe to use a dead light bulb? If it is, what's the easiest way to burn out a light bulb? Lol; will the computer sense the light is out and not allow the HIDS to light up? I don't know what you mean by jump wire the socket, since I don't know and haven't done it before I'd rather not do that but I have a few h13 bulbs lying around only problem is they all are still working so I'll just need to "kill" one.

Sounds like you have a bad harness.

If everything works with the bulb in the driver side socket then you are failing to complete a circuit that feeds the HIDs proper voltage...I wouldn't destroy your factory connections for a kit that is less then satisfactory.
Did you remove the paint on the body or frame before you installed the grounds? are the grounds close to the Ballasts?

DONT use the automatic light option with HID though, you'll kill the ballasts. Always manually turn your lights on after you have started the truck. Also turn off the proximity lights (lights on when you unlock). There's instructions on how to do this in your manual.
Lol you do know that theretrofitsource.com get his parts from CHINA right? Hell hes bought parts from my company before lol.
