Default Trucks shivering

Hello All,

I have been dealing with an issue that I cannot figure out. I have read multiple threads and not sure if the issues are the same. I had my transmission rebuilt about 20 months ago. Shortly after i noticed that if i decreased speed, not braking, and tried to increase speed going up hill the truck would shutter. I worked with my mechanic and the transmission shop and they seem to think the transmission overdrive may be the issue. The transmission shop seems to think the fluid may have been an issue. They gave me a tube of shutter stop that was supposed to fix it. It did not.

It doesn't happen all the time, but scares me when it does. When I tow my camper everything is fine. Until after about 45 mins drive and i had to stop. Once I come to a stop, with the camper in tow, the truck seems to shiver. Shakes very noticeably. I have to rev the engine while in park to make it stop. I have read that plugs could make the truck act weird. I bought the truck at 99,000 miles and currently have about 160K on it. I am not sure if the plugs ever got replaced. I should have mentioned I have a 2007 FX4.

Is my issue the transmission, or something else that I am not picking up?

Thanks in advance foe the advice.

Plugs, use motorcraft. There are guys who use autolite, but price difference is generally nominal.
As for coils.... Do you boots and springs first. I currently have amazon special COP's, but the quality is hit or miss. If you're going to buy them, bite the bullet and go OEM.
As for the shivering, with Christmas over you should be able to get some blankets on clearance
