Default Truck Setup.. Requested

Someone on here was asking me to post pics of the interior and exterior of my truck. I was able to take some better pics yesterday and resize them.

Here is the front.....

From the side

From the rear

The bed slide... Gotta have the stroller! Tools of the trade!

Interior .... The computer is for Computer Aided Dispatch and GPS Tracking... I can watch every ambulance and law enforcement in the county....

I have the stand bolted directly to the floorboard. Only way I could get it to fit.

Last one... VHF,UHF, and Switch box Mounted to the floor.

x2 on the law enforcement monitoring equipment. Awesome setup! I have always been a huge fan of POVs. I'll throw some pics and maybe a video up of my setup.

The CAD setup costs around ten grand per truck. It is routed through Central Dispatch. I can only see where law enforcement is.. I cant see what type of call they are on though. Unfortunately the medical side is locked out of the law enforcement side as far as call type. Each of our units are outfitted with Laptops, Tremble GPS Boxes, GPS Antenna, and either Southern Linc Internet Boxes or we use Verizon's Jet Pack for internet service. The software itself it what costs so much. I have some administrative leeway as far as my truck goes, but my fleet only has permission to view the medical side of the calls. When a call comes into E911, the CAD chooses the closest available unit to that call. It keeps up with times and also shows on the map where the call is at. You can talk to central dispatch though the CAD and you can also talk truck to truck with it as well. Sorta like yahoo messenger but better! You can cross reference addresses, see call histories, and also get GPS headings for when we need helicopters. Also with this program you can find out all the information about the patient and the call while the call is in progress. Pretty neat little set up. Ill take some screenshots sometime today and let ya'll see what its all about. Since Morgan County started using this system about 5 years ago, we have shaved about 5 - 7 min off our response times because we dont have to old school it by looking at a map!

That's awesome, sounds like quite the setup you are running. I'll be looking forward to those pics.
