Default trouble with nfab step install

Got home and the nfab steps were here. Quick delivery. Was very excited to get these on. Took them out and passenger side had a good scuff, figured it wouldnt be to big a deal. Put the passenger side on, no problem. Went to do the driver side and the wholes wont line up, the mounting plates are in the right spots just dont reach the wholes in the truck to insert the bolts and the end of the bars are pressing into the bottom of the cab. It seems as if the weld on the mounting plate with the ovals is lower than it is supposed to be. Anyone encounter this problem? Im pissed, these things were 400 bucks shipped and now that scuff is not so little of a problem.

When in got mine they didnt fit either. Mine were labeled wrong. Passanger was labeled driver and so on. i stood there and had a few cold ones and then BAM!!, i saw it. I flip flopped them and they fit perfect. Hope this is your problem also as it is an easy fix. By the way i got mine brand new still in the box unopened at the scrap yard for $65. I couldnt believe it, im sure they were hot but i bought them and got a reciept. To top it off it was my bday. You will love them once you get them figured out there awsome looking.

Man I wish that was the prob. Passenger side went on like a champ. Driver side seems to be right other than the fact something seems to be off. I am taking it to a truck accessory guy tmrw and see if he can shed some light on the problem.

On the ones I just installed...it stated that the shorter of the 45 degree bends on the front and back of the steps goes towards the front... Mine were not marked for sides.
