Default rough start problem

so. 2006 f150 screw 4.6 K&N FIPK CAI, Dynomax exhaust leveled... etc

When i start it on a cool morning zero or below my truck turns over beautifully. brand new battery, brand new alternator both tested at maximum performance. new TPS new MAF everythign possible new, when the truck fires it sounds like its rough or " dry " untill it gets a few turns going. ive had the fuel rail cleaned and water remover put in and it jsut doesnt seem to want to fire normally again.

now im in northern Central ontario where its been well below zero lately. and i still have my cold air on. would that may be a factor in this? it happened to my '00 scab 4.6 last winter as well and i left the CAI on..

any opinions would be amazing please

How many miles did you have on those champions? The broken one has me worried about mine... Or did you break that after you pulled it out?

Gotcha... Well atleast you had champions in there so you know they are coming out no problems. I have champions in mine too. The spark plugs have been known to cause misfires after little miles. Mine are still good. I just don't like how the tip of yours broke off. What plugs did you put back in after you changed them? I think I will go with motorcrafts next time due to the bad reviews of champion (although they dont break )

Saying "gotcha" as in "I gotcha" or "I understand" because you have no idea how long they were in there for. I have heard of them misfiring at 30,000 km but never seen them break off like that.
