Exclamation Transmission HELP!

So this may have been covered, couldnt find my exact problem though. And I Know... First Time Poster, But NEED HELP PLEASE!

So I have no O/D and no 3rd with O/D on

Have 2nd manual + engine braking from 'D' to '2' (Assuming Good OD Band)
Have All Gears (Assuming Good Sun)
No CEL
No Flashing O/D Light
Pulled EVERY SINGLE fuse and relay, all good
ReChecked every connection, good
Pulled Pan off again, re-checked VB, pulled the TCC and SS1/2, cleaned up (they were dirty)
Topped Off With Fluid again

Story:
got truck with no gears, and minimal history (said truck lost all gears around a turn, but could get 1st for a little bit, then nothin... said it would occasionally slip if truck was loaded heavy, so he kept it light, and drove nice, but slipped for about 5 months)

pulled VB for the hell of it, (found brownish fluid, with metal 'goo' around magnet, and yellow plunger on truck with 75k) 2-3 accumulator spring came out in two pieces, and had a bent cup, replaced those, and also the Torque Convertor With just a ProKing Reman.

put back in, went through all the gears slow, quadrupule checked the fluid -hot in park, triple checked all connections.

can get 3rd with o/d off only (and only once, seems if i hit o/d again, it will stay in 2nd), no 4th, regardless of throttle position or speed
fyi... truck is on stands in garage when i test gears (tires spinnin, but not goin no wheres... OBVIOUSLY my brake lights ((ABS)) (BRAKE) are on

ANY IDEAS? or is it the direct clutch or stub shaft? any way of testing anything, or do i have to pull the tranny out AGAIN? (mind you im in a garage, no friends, no lift, just me and a floor jack, with a few tools and beer) (fyi, trannys are heavy )

How about the Digital Transmission Range Sensor? The connection sometimes gets messed up with corrosion.

Hmm. That's a thinker. What a pain.
Have you checked the wiring harness as I goes up to the front of the truck? Maybe a melted wire and now is shorting? But probably not. I wish I knew more about trannys.
If you don't mind, I was wondering how hard it is to pull the VB and clean or replace the shift solenoids. I want to do that but have minimal experience with trannys.
Anyways, I hope you get it figured out. That is a real pain to have to do that yourself, esp. removing the tranny. They are heavy!

yeah, i thought the harness too, cause i smashed it as i was reinstallin the tranny, so i pulled it all out yesterday morning, and some bent wires (you can see where they got pinched) but all 'looked' fine....

VB is easy (comin from a non tranny guy!) pull pan (get covered in fluid) and pull filter (make sure o ring comes out of VB, pull the 20 someodd bolts out (mostly 8mm, panand some VB is 10mm) (a bracket will come out that holds the o/d cylinder thing in, and the 'rooster claw' for your gear selector as well. make sure you unhook the black plastic thing from the pass side connector, and by the selector). then pull down VB.. (ITS HEAVIER THAN YOU THINK) the 2-3 accum spring and cup will fall out, so will a little black filter. make sure when you re-install work center outwards, torqueing bolts like 80-95-110? INCH pounds. losses about 6qts of fluid, depending on how long you take...

How sure are you that a bunch of metallic "crap" did not circulate through the transmission, clogging something else?

Your statement of "with metal 'goo' around magnet" has me wondering what else is plugged up in the tranny.

Me thinks it needs to come out again, and requires a "deep body cavity search"!

How much metal goo? My pan magnet was trashed at 92K when the thing blew. I had no 3-4th or R..... I threw in a junkyard trans and traded the pig in 3 weeks later.

original trans filter

That's where the shift lever mounts on the side. Look for one to buy at Rockauto and you'll see what it looks like.
