I have a 2007 F150 where when I switch to 4H when I`m driving makes a grinding noise. If I were to switch it to 4H when it is parked it is no problem at all, but when I switch it to 4H while driving it makes a grinding screaching noise. Any comments from anyone

 

I would probably not shift into 4wd while moving. I always stop, put the truck into neutral, then shift to 4wd, then shift to drive again and start moving. That will reduce the wear on your transfer case.
