Default Trans slipping around 30mph + system lean code

Anyone know if a system lean code or anything similar would have any effect on transmission performance?

Just got this 05 f150 running after changing timing chain tensioners/guides and drove it for the first time today. It drives fine at lower speed but around 25-30 it randomly seems to slip or just engage and disengage. Engine revs up and then when it drops down it gently grabs and will start to accelerate again.

Im sure the trans is shot but figured since the engine light is on for a lean condition (fuel pressure sensor that I havent installed yet). When I shift it from park or neutral into any gear, it shifts real soft, doesnt lurch forward, sometimes i dont even feel it go into gear

Drove it more, it appears to just be an issue with overdrive. I turned the O/D switch off and It no longer has any problem shifting

It seems I have a fairly common issue. No overdrive and no engine braking when in 2nd gear. Hopefully its the broken snap ring issue most people seem to have had.
