Default Trans fault

I'm driving to work this morning around 60 mph when my truck comes out of over drive, the o/d light starts flashing and trans fault comes across the info center. After I slow down or come to
A stop it goes back into overdrive, the light stops blinking, and nothing on the info center. After start going again and get back around 55-60 mph it does it again. Any ideas?

I'm going to this evening. Just wandering what others had to do if they had this issue.

TRS or Transmission Range Sensor: try and locate it and clean the connections on it

I recently had the same issue just at a slower speed. When i turned over drive off it drove normal minus higher rpms but constantly slipped. When i took to the dealer to have looked at i had to have the entire trans replaced due to some sort of snap ring failure. luckily when i bought my truck i bought a warranty also so 50 dollars later new transmission. i hope the best for ya

I will try that when I get home. I got under it to make sure they were all locked in tight.
