I myself was very seriously contemplating on getting a set but I heard do to our wonderful weather between the snow and ice, it can create a lot of issues with the compressor.

I got one I only uses it as an alarm . Yes you heard it car alarm , it's worth it . Many summers ago a bunch of kids breaking in to a park cars outside . So I put one on my truck the next day.after a week or so @around 1am they tried to break into my truck that we uses as a bait park outside .the alarm went off waking up almost the whole neighborhood . 2 get cougth and 3 got away but latter pickup by the local sheriff.
The horns will get frozen 30dg. And bellow .compressor location is necessary away from salt

Be wary of noise ordinances. Something like that can potentially get you in legal trouble.
