Default Trailer Load Harley Davidson Edition

Hello,
I am living in Germany and I have actually bought an imported F150 in Harley Edition for towing a trailer with a weight of 3500 kg.
But there is no trailer load written in the papers of the car!
Now I must have an official paper from a dealer that shows the trailer load permitted by Ford (USA).
Unfortunally Ford only release 3000 kg for the Harley Edition!
What is the reason for this lower trailer load by Harley Edition?

Higher trim trucks usually have lower towing and and hauling capabilities. If you wanted the best truck for towing and hauling, a closer to base model, 7 lug variant with the max payload and tow would have been a good option.

Thanks for the answers, but above all I am interested to know why the trailor load from the Harley Edition is so much lower?
Limited slip axle 》I dont believe
Automatic transmission 》 the same as Lariat
Frame 》 the same as Lariat
Only the Transfer Case is different to Lariat!
Is this built weaker?

It's because all the added options that came with the Harley Edition add extra weight which lowers
the amount of weight you can tow. A two-wheel drive truck has a higher tow rating than a four-wheel drive truck
due to less weight.

If memory serves correct, the Harley version has sweet 22” wheels with cute rubber bands for tires.

You just aren’t going to tow much with those rubber bands.

Maybe the springs are different.

In any event, you won’t be able to get something from Ford to help you even if you swapped to a 17” or 18” wheel and a high load rated tire.

There are 275/65-18 high load rated tires mounted,
but in the same meaning as you say, Ford gives no help for these tires!
The only way I see is a single assessment.
But the next dealer that can do this is 500 km away!

Did you consult your owners manual. It should have a chart with towing capacity for various engine, wheelbase, axle gearing combinations.
if you don't have it you can go tohttp://Ford.com/support/owner-manuals/

and download it in PDF form.

It does show a lot less capacity for the Harley and limited edition, but as mentioned that is probably due to the tires they came with. I would expect yours with the 18" load rated tires to have similar capacity to the 139" wb 3.73 geared 4x4 crew cab of 3992kg
