Default tps replacement pcm reflash?

Ok guys, everything I've read says you have to reflash the pcm after you've installed a new tps. Thing is, I had the pcm reflashed after I had the new throttle body replaced two years ago. If I install a new tos , do I still have to reflash it even though it has the newest flash installed?

Matt, yes it's an update for the computer. Lyric, it's not that hard, two star bolts and you're done. Apparantly the tps sensor is a common failure on our trucks. Im picking one up this afternoon. Takes about 10 min if that to swap out. 70 bucks for the sensor. I got a P2106 code this morning along with failsafe mode. I knew I was having a TPS issue for a few weeks now, but I think it totally fried this morning lol.

Matt, it has to be done at the dealership. They hook up their computer and update the program on our computer. Sorta like a retune. I think it costs around 90 bucks. It can fix a variety of different issues from timing to shift points on the transmission.
