Default TPMS install on 06

My 06 f150 did not come tpms as an option. I recently bought new tires and rims that come with all four ford OEM sensors strapped in the tire. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy the receiver that fits in my dash? I just need the part that will read the sensors tire pressure. Then I will find a way to connect to my aftermarket digital display to read what the receiver picks up. Or at least that's my plan. Any help on that part?

Wish I could give you the tpms stuff out of my 08.

I dont know the the answer to you question directly. However, I seem to recall seeing some aftermarket tpms sensors that will report via Bluetooth that can be recognized by phone app I think.

Sure wish I had a pre tpms truck.

I have an 06, here's my TPMS setup. I bought an aftermarket display and put it where my cig lighter was.

It's that except with the internal sensors. I did a quick search I can't find the internal sensor version but I didn't look extensively.

I don't mind. All these little upgrades keep my happy with the truck so I don't have to spend 50k on a new one. Win -win

have you tested the range on those sensors? Wondering if you could use on trailer (with monitor in cab)?

According to one reviewer it works on his 40' motorhome. 433Mhz is the operational radio frequency and that typically has an 18' range without antenna. 100' with.
