i know that the sales brochure for my '07 had a half page section that highlighted the TPMS and how it was integrated into the truck. It looks like they toned it down for the '08 brochures.

Thats the thing, his tire shop did not swap the sensors for him. They screwed him and he doesnt blame them I would go down there and make them fix their mistake. TPMS is not new, and any reputable tire shop would of swapped the sensors for you.

If the light comes back on, I'll definitely be heading in there to see what they will do about it.

thats why you always gewt that **** done at discount tire, i work for them and dont get me wrong im not trying to advertize for them, but we swap the sensors and if we break one we pay for it to get you a new one and reprogram your truck for you or whatever you need

The sensors WILL always come back on, it takes about 20 miles on my 08, the light goes on and the info center pops a message which I have to clear myself, annoying stuff.
