id just put a really tiny sticker over top the orange light on the dash and hit reset everytime you start the vehicle to clear the TPMS fault message..no biggie.

Why the heck would you still be running rubber valvestems? Just sayin.

Sorry man - I just can't go with you on the mandatory TPMS argument. Sure, for soccer moms and average-Joe-yuppie-clueless it's probably a "good thing", but for those of us don't need idiot lights, or have reasons not to run it, there should be an ability to disable it. Fortunately my truck is an '05 so I don't have to deal with it. Somehow I've managed to drive it around in the mountains for years without running low or blowing up a tire.

because the tires were the factory set and I havent had a single problem with rubber stems in my car. What I find odd is that there is an anamous toward something that takes minimal amounts of cash to work with, if you spend 2k for rims and tires, whats another 75$ for sensors? Just to bitch about an integrated warning system?

Principle I guess. I'm not paying for something I think is useless and I don't want.

I tore my gauge cluster apart and placed a strip of black duct tape under the (_!_) symbol and my problem is gone. No other modifications needed
