Well I just ordered a set of Add-a-leaf helper springs, hopefully these will help with towing but not make it stiff as hell

Which brand did you go with? Lemme know how much height and ride difference you see out of them!

I hooked up my loaded dump trailer today to go to the dump. It was just under a 7000lb load and it dropped about 3 inches. That may not seem like much but Im running stock rear end pretty much with 33s. It wouldnt take much of a bump for it to compress enough for the tires to hit the body. Im not sure how much my rear end has to compress for my bump stops to come into play.

Wow. Is that 7000lbs including the trailer weight?

Just to let you know be carefule with over hauling with your truck. I have found out that the F150's like to blow mainfold gaskets when the engine gets over torqued and hot pulling. You blow out the gasket and the manifold usually always warps from being cherry red. My family has a trailer dealership and they have blown two with one of there trucks. I just blew my first one the other day hauling for them just for some extra cash. It looks like they even have to undo a motor mount to get to it to replace it on my 2005 F150.

put them on today and it was a lot easier that i figured it would be, it just bolts the top of the leafs instead of adding another leaf in between the others. Ill try and find something to hook to to see how it sits. The thing I was worried about was how the truck rode with out a tralier and really its not as bad as I figured it would. Its a little more springy if that makes sense, its not stiffer but it seems that it has more bounce to it
