Screw my prodigy mount to the knee panel below the light switch. Easy to reach with left hand for manual braking, etc. Also the panel should be one of the easier and cheaper to replace if the truck were to be sold.

Thanks, for mentioning that. I just checked out the video and it seems to be well done and shows how easy it is to install.

I'm going to be purchasing mine and installing it after the semester is over and I start our break.

my question is, with a light duty trailer why would you need a brake controller? I have towed 16" trailers many times with my 07 SC and never had a single problem. Is this trailer equiped with electronic brakes?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he said it was a tandem axle trailer. That by itself would imply some heavy loads. I personally would figure out the weight of the trailer, tongue weights, etc for the trailer empty and fully loaded, then see what was needed.

Thanks all,

yes I ordered a prodigy and harness for my 07 King Ranch. I am picking up my new tandem axle Gator Made trailer next week in Somerset, KY

I will mount the prodigy when it arrives in the next day or two.
