Default Tow Mirrors

I need to get a new set of outside mirrors and was originally planning on ordering a pair from Tasca, but decided to check ebay. I found this http://tinyurl.com/yg3yypq and was wondering what you guys would think would be the best decision.

*Also, will the heat function work? I don't have the rear window defrost, but would love to have my mirrors defrostable.

Since you have a 07 your harness should match this mirror's pin setup so you should be virtually plug and play. As far as the heat goes, that I am unsure of since I do not have the rear defrost either (seriously why would I in southern Texas?). Unfortunately, I have added those to "My eBay" as well now. LOL, jk. good luck!

They should be just plug and play, I was wondering if ebay would be a better deal than Tasca. I'm also going to check at the dealership, shipping to Ak is ridiculous

like they said, it oloks to be plug and play for the most part. but Im pretty sure that you will have to wire a switch of some kind for the heat, and possible the powered teloscopic extention, assuming you dont already have mirrors that power extend.

*update* I went to the dealer this afternoon and ended up paying $350 for drivers and passengers mirrors. I figured it would have been $330 from Tasca and I didn't have to wait for them to get here. They are on now, only took 30minutes on each side once I figured out how to do it.

One issue is that the turn signals aren't lighting up... Is there an extra wire I should run? The puddle lamp doesn't come on either....

I have the same mirrors on my 08 xlt screw and all of the wiring is there for me, i didnt have heated mirrors or blinkers or pdl lamps on my truck stock. The puddle lamps and blinkers work on my wit just plug and play. My brother works for ford and we are pretty sure that all of the wiring for the heating is ran thru the truck already. I think you just have to buy a new ac controller that has the def switch built in or try to rig it thru an extra switch. My dash is apart now for paint and fiberglass and it does look like the wiring is there for the defroster switch. I love these mirrors, just sometimes to big to fit in spaces hahaha

hmm... i might have to check some schematics. I only had four wires from my harness plugging into the mirror. does that sound right?

Ya i def had more wires then that on my harness. idk if 07 and 08 have 100% the same wiring. Did you have blinkers in ur stk mirrors or just the reg power mirrors(i had these)? look at this link i am prty sure my wiring looked like this http://www.tascaparts.com/pages/inde...8&pageid=10207

I had just regular power mirrors, I think that was the biggest difference. I have pins 6,5,4,and 3, which just do the movement. How hard is it to wire in the turn signals/puddle lamps ?
