Default Tow mirrors

To all you guys who have installed tow mirrors on your trucks. I've got an 06 XLT, my mirrors are just your basic style, no heat, turn signal or puddle light. All they have is power up/down,in/ out. All the tow mirrors I've seen have what I mentioned above. Will they work on my truck? Or do they make standard tow mirrors?

I have the same year and an xlt. As far as I am assuming I'm going to have to run a wire and pin it into the same connector. I've also read on here done people have had the wires to the mirror in place already but only saw it on the forum do who knows the circumstances.

They should work just fine. I just put a set of heated, power, turn signals, and puddle lamps tow mirrors on my 2007 FX4 that had only power mirrors and everything works. i had to run zero wires. just plug and play. I don't know if the heated works, it's been hot ever since i installed them so i haven't had the chance to figure it out. but it should just be a plug and play.

Yeah because you have an 07 you might be lucky and dont have to move any pins around or install a new fuse with heated mirror switch.

Best way to tell is open up your door and look at the connector. The door connector will tell you all you need to know. Compare it to the diagram on the tasca website and see if it is already wired. 90% of the time it will already be wired for the signals. I have an 06 FX4 and I didnt have any heat wires. Not worth it for me since I would have to install a new fusebox and switch console if I wanted the heat function to work.

I have a hate love relationship with my tow mirrors. I'm assuming the owner before me wanted something affordable so he didn't by the power mirrors.
