I read where the under skin and all that is really good, but I do still wonder how the top of the new ones would hold up to the older. I mean, there's not a lot of strength or framing in the top of the cab as it is. I've heard mine pop when leaning on the top while waxing it. I don't know...

Probably rolled 3-4 times. To an observer, the number of rolls in vehicle rollovers are typically exaggerated significantly. Nice Geolandars.

Wow, that's crazy. I had a similar accident this past summer, but I somehow didn't roll after hydroplaning off the highway going 75, going into the grass median, getting completely airborne after colliding with a service road, landing on the front end, and sliding sideways for about 50 yards.

That's really something to see. Glad you're okay. You gonna get another F150 when you're ready to get another vehicle?

Funny you should ask. I've always like Ford and Dodge pick-ups...strictly speaking on looks. After this, I'd never buy anything BUT a Ford again. My wife grew up hearing her family talk about how bad Fords are, so she always followed that suit. Again, after this, she's even said she wouldn't want anything else. They proved themselves in the hardest of ways! I don't know what I'm gonna get right off...a bit spooked as far as driving on a highway, to be honest. I retire from the Army this summer, and we've talked about RVing around the country...so that might sway what I get, so it can be pulled behind. No other truck will be in my family except Ford, though.

Joey, glad to hear yours turned out "good" too!

Sorry for your truck but glad you walked away from that! I'd say you have a heck of a guardian angel!
