Yes. Should cut off around 100 mph. If you plan on removing the limiter and setting a new top speed, make sure your tires are rated high enough to handle that new top speed. You should also mind the suspension.

these are two and a half ton trucks and things get violent when you lose it.

believe me, during a snow storm two years ago i put my '08 screw on its side. snow was covering some pretty big holes just to the right of the white line on a two lane country road, i hit one sending me across oncoming and into a ditch. upon entering the ditch the front passenger wheel caught and the whole truck pivoted on it, ripping the tire off of the rim as she finally came to a stop on her right side. all this was only at 40-45. though obviously too fast for the conditions.

losing it at a buck would almost certainly mean game over for you and possibly others.

i hit 125 in my truck, idk if it was because i was going downhill, but i just know that my needle was past the 120 mark, so i assume i hit at least 125 lol

Ok, so the 103 or so was the top then. Thanks.

I dont need to make it go any faster than that. Normally I keep it at 80 or below but just got on it a week or so ago late at night for the hell of it.

Ive had my Mustang's speedometer pinned and it goes up to 140. The 347 in it pulls hard. Its got tires rated for that speed and a good suspension.

My '05 Hyundai Elantra hit 115 and felt like it was going to take flight. My '96 Neon hit 120, my '96 Blazer cut the fuel at 96, my '93 S10 pinned the 85 mph speedometer, I was afraid of blowing up my '89 S10 so I kept it below that and my '87 Ranger barely did 65.

Yeah, its probably a bit stupid to be making top speed runs like that but it sure is a rush and not something I do all the time.
