That's a sweet lookin' cover!!! It all depends on what you think you'll be using more. Do you not use the toolbox enough to keep it?? I do like the look of the tonneau cover.

well...how do i put it...what a toolbox without any tools in it?
all i have in there is my factory floor mats, my 3rd brake light, a funnel, and some transmission fluid. i figured if i got this cover (which will stab my wallet a bit) that i can just put some type of carriers against the side or somethin, idk, im clueless at the time. i just had the idea from the trim shop, the boss's daughter was tryin to sell it to me

I'd say go for it.. A tonneau cover looks better than a toolbox IMO

im startin to agree. i didnt realize it until this mornin when i drove up on my truck wit the company truck that..for some reason..maybe its only me..i dont even NOTICE the toolbox in the back. i figured that if i sell it for bout 150-200 (hell i dont know what they sell for) i can pay the other half and get it installed at my buddy's truck shop...or somethin... who needs tuition money. lol

I don't guess that it would fit in a 2006 Taco would it?? My friend is wanting to get a toolbox in his truck now.

A tonneau cover was the first thing I put on my truck when I got it. Comes in handy on those long trips when you want to or need to put your luggage somewhere other than the back seat.

so i pretty much sold my toolbox. its already out of my truck, and it sure makes a difference in appearance now that i notice its NOT there. i may have to replace the bedcaps though since they have holes in them from the toolbox and the headache rack that used to be there

I just purchased and had that same cover installed. We've been getting a lot of rain here in Houston and are supposed to be getting a lot more. Give me a week and I can tell you exactly how well it holds up against the rain.

I can tell you one thing....It looks pretty damn sweet installed!
