So I'm in a pickle at the moment. I want to get a tonneau and I have a good feeling about choosing Bakflip for its strong 3-4 fold tonneaus. But I noticed the undercover tool box is only
(width x length x height) 10"x65"x11"
When I looked at the truxedo covers they have a trifold but I believe it's not a hard cover trifold but their box is 22"x55x"x15".

Is it possible to get the Bakflip cover with the truxedo box? Because I know their Bakflip box is too thin.

On the other hand would it just be better to get a camper shell? If so what are some companies that I can buy from and what are some pros and cons of both the tonneau or the camper shell?

In other words tonneau cover or camper shell?

Any suggestions or opinions are great thanks!

I have a Vinyl Flip back cover on my truck I love it. It is easy to flip back if you need to load the bed or can come all the way off in seconds. It holds up really well against the weather as well. I would figure caps would be better but I dont like the way they look

Go find a buddy with a camper top and ask him if you can load a few boxes in it.

You'll decide against it unless you're 4' tall. The hunching over and/or crawling is ridiculous. They have their purposes; but unless you only do one or two things with your truck that require a camper top, I wouldn't go that route.

I personally can't do the hard or tri-fold tonneaus; as I don't wanna have to remove the entire thing every time I really wanna fill the bed.

The Truxedo soft cover worked the best for me, as I can roll it WITH the spars in one piece/roll; then latch it up. When I'm done I just roll it out again. But I don't have a box in the bed or any other expensive stuff........so soft works just fine for me.

Trust me on the camper tops.........just go crawl in a truck that has one! lol

I have the extang roll up cover, had a trifold and hated it, it took up room even when folded up. with the roll up kind its all out of the way and easily rolled back to closed!

a cap creates all kinds of blind spots. I had one on two different trucks and I only used them in the winter to keep snow out of the bed.

Ive got a soft tonneau cover on my F150. Its easy to remove when I need to haul something and still keeps snow and rain out. It is a bit of a pain to put back on when its cold out though.

I see what your saying and the roll up sounds nice. It's not frustrating at all at times though? Can you open it from the front or tailgate? If I got the tuxedo is definately like to get the in bed box to hold my tool boxes

I was also thinking the soft topper because it's easy to fold away and such just like a roll up tonneau with the ability to be like a camper top. Plus it gives you an army ish look that might match my truck well. For a better picture here is my truck tell me what you guys think.
