I loved the AT2's when I had them on my Grand Cherokee. They have almost the exact same tread pattern as the BF AT, you can stud them, and they offer a 60k mile treadwear warranty for considerably less. Definitely a tire to check out. When I was stationed in North Dakota, the tire handled great in the snow/ice, did decent for an AT in the mud, and were quiet on the highway.

Michelin LTX M/S aren't aggressive and are great tires according to Tire Rack. My friend has them on his explorer and has nothing but praise

What about Firestone Destination ATs. Least aggressive AT I have seen in a while and Firestone Autocare has good prices on them.
