Default Tire Size Question.. step in

I have a question about what is the biggest size tire I can put on my truck with the stock suspension. I have a 2005 F150 supercab lariat with 18" stock rims. Whats the biggest I could go with the stock suspension? With a 3" leveling kit I know the biggest I could go is 35" so I'm guessing 31"?

So is that 275/70/R18? There was no rubbing on the front tires with those 33's?

Ok so my next question is, what tires should I run. I want something that looks and is rugged and has good off-road use and traction, good on-road use and traction, and good in the snow. I do more on-road driving, but occasionally on the weekends I take her off-road and once or twice a year to the Michigan sand dunes.

Kumhos are very quiet on road and durable on gravel. Pull great offroad. I read before i purchased that they are good in winter driving but being from MS I have no clue how they handle snow. Very tame on the streets tho

So are the Kumho Road Venture M/T's what you recommend?

yeah i love mine... nobody around here had seen them but everybody comments on how good they look and man they pull their tails off... i had a chevy guy call me last night to pull him out and he had larger tires. make about as much noise as an agressive all terrain.

but IMO i would add a level kit. 3" if i could do it again. unless tires are very worn... gives the truck more agressive look and more ground clearance
