Which tire size?
Rookie question, but I have been researching possible new tires and my stock tires are 255/70/17. Whenever I go on several websites (tirerack) I type in my F150 info and it asks if the sizes of my tires are Original Equipment Option 1: 255-70-17 or Original Equipment 2: 275-65-18. Does this mean the truck body can handle the range of 255-70-17, 265-70-17, and 275-65-18 tires with original body? Also, If I decide to get a 2" leveling kit in the future what would be a good sized tire for that? Cheers.

a vehicle can more than likely always take on a rim size smaller or bigger depending on lug holes backspacing yada yada etc etc.
it is not possible to put a 17 inch tire on an 18 inch rim, and you cannot put a 20 inch tire on a an 18" rim.
if u do get a lift you can go with a taller and or wider tire. depending on backspacing etc etc.
there are plenty of threads that discuss backspacing etc etc so im not going to get into it.

Question would be if you are two or four wheel drive. If 4wd and you do the level you can fit up to 35s on it. I have two inch level and 315/70/17 with no rubbing and no trimming. 285/70/17 will fit without level and 4wd. I had them on mine with no level.
i have nitto 305/70/17 with 2.5 inch level but they clear easily and wouldnt be a problem with a 2 inch. level. but i wouldnt go any bigger because of power loss. but thats just me
idk how the flexing picture got on there (smart phones arent for dumb people) but at full flex it still doesnt rub...
